11. Companionship

Lesson: We all want to be a part of someone else's story.

One of my favorite events on the bus is when two or more people by chance meet up on the bus. Today, I got on the bus with a male and female college student. A few stops later an older man got on the bus and recognize the male student. After chatting it up for a while, the boy introduced the girl. When the girl said her name the man immediately knew who her mother was. The guys started talking about the "good old days" and it made me a little bit sad.

I have no one- that I randomly see on the bus- to talk about the good old days with.

I really love it when people on the bus see someone they know walking on the street. No matter the race or the age, people get very excited, knock on the window and or yell out the window to get the other person's attention.

No matter how amazing you career or school life is going it really doesn't matter if you have no one to share it with. O.k., it matters, but sharing the ups and downs make it all the more worthwhile.

Forget everything I just wrote. I think all these people having babies and getting married is getting to my head. I will be over it next week.
